Purr by Katy Perry Review
Today I’m reviewing Katy Perry’s fragrance “Purr”. I love this fragrance and have been using it since 2011. I have tried so many different perfumes over the years, but I keep coming back to this one.
At first glance, the bottle is fun and exciting. It’s shaped like a cat and is a gorgeous purple color. It even has a metal collar that says “Purr”. The bottle is easy to open and looks great when displayed.
The scent is kind of musky, with hints of vanilla, fruit, and flowers. The official notes of this perfume are, “Peach Nectar, Forbidden Apple and Green Bamboo. Middle Notes - Jasmine Blossom, Pink Freesia and Bulgarian Rose. Bottom Notes - Vanilla Orchid, Creamy Sandalwood and White Amber”. You definitely get the Vanilla Orchid and White Amber after you first experience a burst of fruit. Personally, I love to wear this fragrance in the winter because the White Amber just makes the scent smell warm and cozy. That doesn’t mean, however, that it can’t be worn throughout the year! The fruitiness of the apple and peach really make it lovely for spring and summer, too!
The one thing that I don’t really like about this fragrance is it unfortunately doesn’t seem to last all day long. I do like that it is potent enough at the beginning though. I always get compliments when I wear this fragrance, especially when it’s been freshly applied! I think it’s a great fragrance for anyone who likes vanilla and warmer scents because that is what ends up lasting the longest.
I love to find this fragrance on Amazon.com as well as on Fragrancenet.com because they always seem to have the best deals on all of the different sizes. When it originally debuted in 2010, the fragrance would run you $35-$65. Now that it’s been around a little over seven years, the largest bottle, 6 fl oz., will only cost you $23 or so on Fragrancenet.com. That’s a steal in my eyes!
Some people might knock a celebrity fragrance, but I think they are great. I find myself drawn to celebrity scents for some reason and they have been just as good as more expensive designer fragrances. In the future, I will feature more reviews on celebrity fragrances because I just love them!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this review of Katy Perry’s “Purr” Eau De Parfum. If you have any questions about this product, let me know! If you have any review requests, I’ll try to oblige!
